DD Music Geek

Dave Dangerfield created DD Music Geek (DDMG) in the latter half of 2019, to fill the void in the local area for music and pop culture items, two of Dave’s passions.

This quickly led to a successful online store and also a popular physical store. The selection of products is now expanding to include everything from guitars and musical instruments vinyl records, CDs, comics, figures, gift products, licensed merchandise and games.

Along with DDMG and now 88mph, Dave is currently working on rehearsals with two local bands as well as spending too many hours trying to get through the original Wonder Boy arcade game on 3 lives.

With 20 years experience in the amusement arcade industry, a collector of toys and games for longer than he will admit here (it’s a long time), plus always geeking out when he visits anywhere with toys, Dave is looking forward to the journey he and Matt are about to set out on, when we hit 88mph!

Lunartik

Matt Jones set up Lunartik.com in 2001 with the intension of blurring the lines between art and product design. Matt currently works as a full time designer/artist, hailing from the UK, with a passion for making cool quirky stuff!

Matt’s been involved with the designer toy industry since 2005, and has produced his own lines of figures (Lunartik in a Cup of Tea) and has worked with many of the industry giants (Titan Merchandise, TOY2R, Moshi Monsters, Forbidden Planet, Gamestop, The Wellcome Trust) producing designs, working with pop-cultural licences and taking conceptual ideas from sketch to manufacture with his far east factories.
